About the Model:

This Spanner Plan from Les Pattison makes use of the Archimedes Screw Principle to lift balls up from one level to another. This principle has been used to good effect by a number of Meccano builders but of course, being me, a certain 'Twist' has been added. The model itself is quite small, using only common parts so will be well within the stock and capabilities of most Spanners. Chris Shute has reviewed the model for me and thinks it would make an ideal small model for exhibitions. So if you are looking for a small space filler for your next exhibition you may want to try this.
